1) Filling
up of Vacancies in the Running Cadre At the NCJ Depot:
At present we are handling 11 Mail and Express trains 2 passenger trains
and 1 Special train at NCJ Depot. The available crew strength is as follows.
LP Mail and Express Sanctioned 11,
Available 10, Vacancies 1.
LP Pass Sanctioned 6 Actual 6
LP Goods Sanctioned 3, Available 2,
Vacancies 1.
LP (s) Sanctioned 7 Actual 7
CRC Sanctioned 3 Available 3
ALP Sanctioned 20 Available 19
Vacancies 1.( Among which 1 is on maternity leave and 1 is on CMS duty and 1 is
always at RC.) So that 16 ALP’s are available to work 16 roster trains. ALP’s
are always denied of even a single day’s leave to meet his family and social
necessities. We are cooperating with the administration at the maximum so that
no train working is disturbed. Kindly take necessary action to fill up the
above said vacancies duly considering the transfer requesters from other depots.
2) Referral Hospital at NCJ
Our long pray for a referral hospital at NCJ had not been considered so
far. We the loco running staff are most of the time spending outside of the
headquarters due to the requirements of our duty. Since the RHU at NCJ do not
have any facilities for the treatment for serious ailments we were always
referred to RH TVP which is in many cases is not a practical solution since
those cases which needed immediate medical attention may not be in a position
to travel that much distance. Even if we
arrive at TVP for medical treatment in many cases we will be further referred
to other referral hospitals at TVC. It imparts too much pains and difficulties
not only for the Loco running staff but also for entire railway men at NCJ. So
kindly take necessary action to implement referral system at NCJ.
3) Conditions
of food Supplied at MDU NCJ and TVC running rooms
The food supplied at the above said RR’s are of very poor quality. At
times we have to even wait for hours the food cocked and ready to serve at MDU
RR. Please arrange supervisory officials on regular measure as surprise visit
to ensure the supplied food full fills the quality as prescribed by the Railway
Board.
4) Non
Information of Welfare Measures
It is mercy plea before your esteemed
office that needs a favorable remedial
action.
Sir the welfare actions taken by the Divisional Office or by The Railway
Board such
as GDCE filling up of ex- cadre posts by promotion or by
deputation etc are no were informed at NCJ on
proper time. Likewise our
children are denied of many cultural and
academic opportunities since we were
not informed in time. Kindly take necessary
action to get informed us about the above activities
at NCJ on time.
Thanking You,
Yours
truly,
S.
SELVAKUMAR.
