Sub: - Difficulties in Your
current 11men crew link for NCJ
Sir,
In
the latest COM crew link for NCJ depot the following difficulties we wish to notify
for your attention and kind appraisal.
1) The latest 11 men link is being formulated in
such a way that we have to work 63 days of night trains in a span of 77 days.
This frequent night disturbances will not only hamper the safety of Railways
but also affect our health so badly. Hence this association request your good
self to kindly re position the link by balancing day and night trains equally.
2) In
the fifth week Wednesday 15905 i.e. P/taxi (ERS ERN)/15905 (ERS-Cape)/ LE (Cape-NCJ)
working will take more than 10 hrs of working. It is against the earlier
promises of your esteemed office that not to formulate a link which warrants at
a stretch working of more than 8 hrs on to off and also against the SPAD
committee recommendations. We humbly request your good self to change that
link.
3) In
a previous letter to your esteemed office we pleaded for not to formulate a
link that demands more than 24 hrs of detention at the outstation but a
favourable appraisal not arrived at so far. In the current link also there are
so many pairing links of out stations detention for more than 24 hours. So the quality
time we spend with our families are reduced
considerbly. Hence we request your good self to implement a suitable
link of lesser outstation detention.
4) Presently the conditions at the MDU and ERN
running rooms are very much worse and we had represented the matter to the divisional
authorities several times. But not a single finger has moved to improve the
pathetic conditions of these two running rooms. And hence we request your good
self to take effective measures to improve the conditions of these running
rooms before formulating a crew link heading towards these running rooms.
Hence
this association finds the current link nowhere being acceptable.
One
last request: - Sir, while formulating newer crew links; kindly include loco
pilots with very well experience in train working - if there is any such
committee - rather than blindly
depending on Traffic inspectors who have no experience as a loco pilot or having
no human consideration in the difficulties of a loco pilot.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
NCJ, (S. Selvakumar)
06-11-12.
(Br. Secretary)
